Final Girl
Horror board game map design
One of the scenarios in the board game Final Girl has the player braving a snowy wasteland, finding an abandoned research station not unlike the one seen in a certain '80s horror classic. I got to work closely with the amazing Roland MacDonald, who designed the other maps and pieces of the game, and his advice was a great help in strengthening the narrative drama of the piece.
As the player explores this station it becomes clear that something went very, very wrong, with many hidden details in the art hinting at what might have unfolded here.
