Immersive storytelling

Balkanschimmen (Balkan Ghosts) is an immersive audiovisual play following a young Dutch journalist traveling through the scarred cities and countryside of Bosnia during the Bosnian War. To completely immerse primary school audiences in her journey and the people she meets, a custom triptych installation was designed that surrounds viewers with two-meter-high screens on three sides with synchronised character projections and environmental visuals.
