Treasure Island

Stage play poster design

Poster design for a grittier, darker Treasure Island, one filled with intimidation, murder, and swashbuckling, yet with moments of levity and comic relief as well.

To capture that tone, I built the design around deep blues and blacks, evoking mystery and threat. The skull cave that hides the fabled loot looms over the characters, who stand in silhouette against a golden glow of treasure.
