A seaside RPG mystery
The Shimmering Alcove is an adventure in the Feathertail Falls RPG campaign, where players take on the role of mouse-adventurers.
Sir Squeacksworth, who loved walking barefoot on the beach, discovered an alcove where the receding tide revealed a path leading to a ship made entirely of sand. A sand mouse invited him aboard the sand ship. Enthusiastically, Sir Squeacksworth boarded, but as the tide rose, it submerged the ship, and he disappeared.
At low tide, when standing in the shimmering alcove, a peninsula can still be seen. With a bit of imagination, it looks a bit like a beach path leading to a ship, with Sir Squeacksworth and his friend standing proudly on top.
