My contribution to Heimwee is a commentary on the conspiracies and paranoia surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, titled: "Death, Destruction and Skype". Hopelessness makes people eager to cling to anything that might provide certainty. We risk becoming flagellants, whipped up by demented doomsayers.
